The 2010 Texas AEYC Annual Conference for Early Childhood Professionals will take place on September 30 – October 2 at the Austin Convention Center and Radisson Hotel in Austin, Texas. The Conference theme is “Children: The Heart of Texas” and will feature an exceptional lineup of keynote and general session speakers. HAAEYC to offer “Connections” Network Day

The Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children (HAAEYC) is offering a new training opportunity for the early childhood community of Houston. The event, “Connections – Linking Research to Learning” will take place on August 1, 2009 from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 8:00 am for a tour of the beautiful Children’s Courtyard facility located at 16255 Longenbaugh, Houston, TX 77095. Attendees will receive a certificate for 4.5 clock hours. The mini conference will include training in three areas:
- Special Needs – Attention Deficit Disorder
- Creating, Evaluating and Enhancing Your Lesson Plans Through Brain Research
- Creating Quality Early Childhood Environments
