The Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children (HAAEYC) is offering a new training opportunity for the early childhood community of Houston. The event, “Connections – Linking Research to Learning” will take place on August 1, 2009 from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 8:00 am for a tour of the beautiful Children’s Courtyard facility located at 16255 Longenbaugh, Houston, TX 77095. Attendees will receive a certificate for 4.5 clock hours. The mini conference will include training in three areas:
- Special Needs – Attention Deficit Disorder
- Creating, Evaluating and Enhancing Your Lesson Plans Through Brain Research
- Creating Quality Early Childhood Environments
